Fabulous Food & Brilliant Brew with Conrad Seidl - on March 22 at 7pm

Renown Austrian beer writer Conrad Seidl visits Philadelphia to call on his favorite area brewery, Victory Brewing Company, and offers us all some insight and lore into the traditions of lager beers, that Victory brews so well.

Welcome: Table of assorted German cheese and sausage with two flavorful mustards and dips. Served with the mild, golden Victory Lager.

Appetizer: Wild Mushroom and Bratwurst Spring Roll served with mustard cream and the mellow and dryish seasonal beer, Victory Dark Lager.

2nd course: Frankfuster Salad, a traditional salad of endive and mixed greens with tomato, cucumber and carrot served with the bracing Prima Pils.

3rd course: hazelnut and Pink Peppercorn Crusted Veal with Festbier Brown Butter Glaze. This will be served with spatzle and Cherry Ale Red Cabbage along with the sublime seasonal beer, St. Victorious Doppelbock.

Dessert: Crepes of apple, almonds and quark, served with fresh whipped cream and the exotic and rich Moonglow Weizenbock.
